About

Chris Dirker is a Dallas-based Commercial Advertising and Editorial Photographer specializing in people, places, and things. His first serious endeavors in photography came about when he was 12 years old. Chris was raised to go big or go home; at a young age, Chris made his childhood dream a big reality when he photographed the X Games competition in Austin, Texas. At the time, it was the summit of his achievements as a photographer. After graduating high school, he packed his things and started his journey to study photography in an academic setting, taking him from Texas to New York to San Francisco. During his studies, Chris dialed in on an intense level of focus and perfectionism—a level of hard work he inherited from his military father and the lineage of farmers on his mother’s side. Chris’s work ethic and passion for photography has led him to many opportunities. Chris’s favorite thing about being a photographer has been the people he has met along the way and the relationships he has built with his clients. When he's not taking photos, he can be found working on a DIY project with his wife or at a dog park trying to get the crazy out of his Aussie puppy.

Fun fact: Chris has a professional pizza-making certification from The School of Italian Pizza.
